ABOUT WAHA

The Wilmington Area Hockey Association (WAHA) is an interscholastic hockey organization competing in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL).
WAHA was formed in 2018 through the support and dedication of a committed group of like-minded individuals who sought to advance competitive hockey for Jr./Sr. high school student athletes in the New Castle, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
As a "Co-Op" program, WAHA is comprised of the following school districts: Ellwood, Mohawk, New Castle, Sharpsville, Union, and program host, Wilmington. WAHA entered the PIHL in the 2018 - 2019 regular season, fielding teams at the Junior Varsity and Middle School Divisions.
WAHA proudly calls Hess Ice Rink in New Castle, PA home ice!
